Behaviour Mentor Opportunity

This role involves working with pupils at a great secondary school, supporting them with their learning, managing behaviour, and helping improve class punctuality and attendance.

The position includes promoting, managing, and maintaining positive student behaviour, performing specific duties at break time, lunchtime, and after school, and supporting in the management of the school Reflection Room.

Job Requirements

  • Able to relate to young people in a firm but friendly and calm manner
  • An ability to ensure that young people reach their classes on time
  • Effective communication skills with both adults and young people
  • Some experience of working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • Able to value all cultures represented in the school and to promote equal opportunities
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills
