Job Title: Artificial Intelligence Researcher

Illumina, Inc. is a leading company in genomics technology, driving innovations that transform human health through genetics. We are seeking an exceptional Artificial Intelligence Researcher to join our team and accelerate breakthroughs in AI-driven genomics research.

In this critical role, you will apply AI and machine learning techniques to analyze vast amounts of genomic data, discovering patterns and insights that inform disease diagnosis and treatment. Working closely with our interdisciplinary research team, you will develop innovative AI-based solutions to address some of humanity's most pressing health challenges. As a respected expert in your field, you will communicate complex AI concepts to diverse audiences through presentations, publications, and workshops.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate AI-powered models for analyzing genomic data.
  • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate AI solutions into Illumina's product portfolio.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate colleagues on AI and machine learning principles.

Requirements:
  • PhD or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Genomics, or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across disciplines.

Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Location: Cambridge, UK (Hub and Hybrid options available).
