Youth Development Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Development Support Worker in County Durham.
This exciting opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of young people aged 11-19, providing them with a safe space to engage in activities that promote personal growth, confidence-building, and learning.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with volunteers, staff, and young people to develop and deliver engaging programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating activities that foster relationships, build confidence, and promote learning among young people
- Providing information, advice, and guidance on various issues affecting young people
- Supporting young people with emotional, physical, or learning needs to participate in projects
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a genuine passion for working with young people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
A strong understanding of youth development principles, community engagement, and volunteer management is essential.
Your salary will be £12.50 per hour, reflecting your valuable contribution to our organization.
