Job Title: Child Placement Coordinator

Polaris Community is recruiting a skilled Child Placement Coordinator to work on a self-employed basis in the North West of England.

This role involves coordinating the adoption process, including matching children with suitable adoptive families, and providing ongoing support to both parties.

Estimated Annual Salary: £55,000

About the Position:

  • Coordinate the adoption process from initial contact to post-adoption support.
  • Match children with suitable adoptive families, considering factors such as family dynamics and child needs.
  • Provide comprehensive support to adoptive families, including preparation, placement, and post-adoption support.
  • Maintain accurate records of the adoption process.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience in adoption coordination and support.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic parenting approaches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Arrangements:

  • Self-employed basis.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Ongoing support and supervision from Polaris Community.
