Onboarding Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Onboarding Coordinator to join our team in East Kilbride. This role will provide critical support to the business and the wider team to ensure the Onboarding Process is achieved in an effective and efficient manner across the Group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and regularly review a recruitment plan to meet divisional short and long-term resource planning, ensuring a pipeline of available diverse talent throughout the UK.
- Review right to work documentation and arrange necessary paperwork.
- Coordinate bank account setup and facilitate translation for candidates requiring it.
- Arrange interviews for National Insurance and facilitate translation for those that require.
- Coordinate accommodation arrangements where necessary, including transitional accommodation.
- Verify candidate competencies and arrange training requirements.
- Check and interpret police disclosure documents.
- Arrange PPE requirements for induction day.
- Ensure all onboarding requirements are met and report any non-conformances.
- Arrange drug and alcohol tests when required.
- Establish the level of written and spoken English of candidates.
- Maintain and update onboarding records and reports.
- Assist the Recruitment Manager with screening and interviewing candidates.
- Collaborate with the HR Team to ensure seamless onboarding for successful candidates.
- Manage the agency preferred supplier list.
- Ensure recruitment processes align with best practice and company policies.
- Meet agreed KPIs and targets.
- Provide regular recruitment updates to the direct manager.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a Construction/Civil Engineering environment would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and prioritisation skills.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
- Integrity and humility in all aspects of work.
- Time management skills and a friendly, upbeat attitude.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality work.
