Towards this end, we are seeking a Refugee Family Reunion Programme Manager to join our inspiring team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering casework, advocacy, practical and emotional support to our service users.

You will ensure they have full access to vital services like health, welfare and education.

You will work with reunited refugees, asylum seekers, vulnerable migrants and their families, specifically within our family reunion team.

You will also ensure volunteers have access to relevant information to enable them to assist with casework functions of the service.

About You
  • You will have an understanding of issues relating to asylum seekers, refugees, individuals on family reunion visas and other vulnerable migrants.
  • You will have knowledge of rights and entitlements for reunited refugees and their families.
  • You will be able to advise on policies and legislation regarding asylum and immigration.
  • You will possess excellent organisational and time management skills – planning, managing, observing, and prioritising workloads, including supporting volunteers.
  • You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the competence to converse well with people whose first language is not English.
  • You will be IT literate, mainly with Microsoft Office.
