Job Overview:
We are seeking caring individuals to help establish perinatal support groups in our libraries. These groups will provide a safe space for new and expectant mothers to connect with others, share experiences, and access information.

Your Role:
As a Support Group Facilitator, you will welcome new mothers and their babies to the group, facilitate social interactions and connections among participants, listen to concerns and worries, and provide emotional support when needed. You will also help find and share information about community resources and services.

Vast Services: Investing in communities is committed to making a positive impact on local communities. We offer training provided by Just Family CIC, including trauma awareness, and reimburse DBS check and vehicle travel expenses. We also commit to competitive salary packages, with an estimated £8-10 per hour pay rate for this role.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a friendly and outgoing personality, excellent social skills, and a warm and empathetic approach. Familiarity with local community support services is also essential. A commitment to 12 months (ideally) is required.
