**Role Description:** As a GCSE Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners to achieve their academic goals.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality tuition, including ad hoc Functional Skills where necessary, and collaborating with fellow English and Maths peers to enhance curriculum planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  2. Conduct initial assessments and diagnostics to identify learner strengths and areas for improvement.
  3. Liaise with learners face-to-face in their academies, facilitating group sessions and providing individual support.
  4. Collaborate with fellow English and Maths peers to enhance curriculum planning and ensure alignment with client and awarding body standards.
  5. Ensure accurate completion of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), incorporating SMART target setting and review points.
  6. Utilize e-portfolios to track learner attendance and progress, logging quality samples of teaching and learning.
  7. Monitor learner performance on an ongoing basis, reporting to management effectively.
  8. Foster support systems for positive retention, achievement, and progression among learners.
  9. Meet assessment and documentation deadlines for awarding bodies, funding bodies, and organisational requirements.
  10. Participate in learner disciplinary actions when necessary.
  11. Undertake internal moderation activities as required.
  12. Coordinate Maths examination bookings and SLC assessments for learners on your caseload.
  13. Work collaboratively with the GCSE manager to achieve delivery targets.
  14. Promote safe working practices, adhering to Health and Safety legislation and conducting regular risk assessments.
  15. Engage in relevant learning and development activities, maintaining a record of CPD.
  16. E Embed company core values and vision in your work.
  17. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  18. Provide support, guidance, and advice to learners, customers, and colleagues throughout your role.

**Estimated Salary Range:** £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Requirements:

  1. Qualified Tutor with at least a Level 3 specialism.
  2. Minimum 2 years teaching experience in GCSE/Functional Skills.
  3. Teaching Qualification at least a Level 3.
  4. Valid Driving Licence.
