Job Title: Children Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Support Worker to join our team. As a Children Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual to work as a Children Support Worker in our residential home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to children, promoting their independence and well-being, and ensuring their safety and protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and support to children, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Support children in their daily activities, including education, leisure, and social activities.
  • Ensure the safety and protection of children at all times, adhering to care plans and guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a high-quality service to children.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
