Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Oncology Psychological Nurse Expert to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our service and enhance the wellbeing of cancer patients through promoting mental health care across the Trust.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of patients, supported by the broader Psycho-Oncology team
  • Overseeing the management and coordination of the team's operations, including daily work schedules and off-duty rotas
  • Providing guidance to nursing colleagues regarding the management of patients with specific mental health needs
  • Collaborating with the clinical lead and the rest of the team to contribute to service development, education, and mental health promotion

A salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata, is available for this role.
