This position is a permanent contract for 30 hours per week, with operating hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding bank holidays.
You will be providing care to both oncology inpatients and outpatients, working closely with our current team.

PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY Main duties of the job You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of patients, supported by the broader Psycho-Oncology team, which includes psychiatrists, psychological specialist nurses, a psychologist, and counsellors.
Additionally, you will oversee the management and coordination of the team's operations.
Regular supervision and access to professional courses will be provided.
Collaborating with the clinical lead and the rest of the team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to service development, education, and mental health promotion.

Job description Job responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health and psychological needs and plan, implement, and evaluate care delivery according to changing health care needs to ensure continuity of effective patient care.
Perform advanced clinical skills in psychological and mental health assessment, diagnosis, and interactions to enhance the patient experience.
Provide guidance to nursing colleagues regarding the management of patients with specific mental health needs.
Collect, collate, evaluate, and report information, maintaining accurate patient records in line with clinical governance and risk-management.
Involve patients and cares/relatives in the planning and delivery of care and development of services to enhance the patient/carer experience.
