Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical expert in sepsis, providing guidance and support to nursing and medical staff.
  • Conduct educational sessions, workshops and training programs to enhance staff knowledge and awareness of sepsis management.
  • Lead and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives related to sepsis care.
  • Provide direct patient care and support in complex cases, ensuring timely identification and management of sepsis.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in nursing studies, post-registration certificate in oncology or acute medicine, qualification in teaching and assessing, and experience in service development and implementation of change. They should also have highly developed communication skills, ability to initiate clinical audit and research, and experience of working within a given resource and demonstrating imaginative and effective use of resources.
