Care Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Struan Lodge Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the care team to ensure the smooth running of the home and create a warm and supportive environment for residents.
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as dressing, bathing, and toileting, while prioritizing their dignity and independence.
- Oversee the ordering, administration, and documentation of medication, maintaining accurate records.
- Engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure clear and compassionate communication.
- Foster a team ethos, promoting a supportive environment for all staff and respecting diversity.
Requirements:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential. We also welcome applications from experienced Care Assistants actively working towards their Level 3.
- Practical Medication Administration with competencies is required.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team, delegating tasks effectively while maintaining a supportive environment.
