Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Equipment Specialist to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing repair, service, and maintenance on hydraulic hoses in the workshop and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain, repair, and install equipment in the workshop near Slough and at customer sites across the surrounding areas.
  • Install hydraulic products into various manufacturing industries.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various hydraulic equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, or Electro-Mechanical Engineer.
  • Good working knowledge of hydraulics is highly advantageous.
  • A mechanical engineering background is required, with full product training provided.
  • An engineering qualification would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to commute to Reading and travel to surrounding customer sites when required.
