About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Estate Services Team Lead to join our team in Surrey, Sussex, and Kent. As a key member of our Property team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising up to 8 Estate Operatives to deliver high-quality estate services and provide logistical support to the Group In-House Team Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise Estate Operatives to ensure high-quality estate services are delivered
  • Provide logistical support to the Group In-House Team Manager
  • Complete regular performance meetings with stakeholders to monitor and discuss performance
  • Use Field Service to record estate inspections and monitor the quality of Estate Operative's work
  • Put in place programmes of work to inspire Estate Operatives to aspire to higher performance
  • Provide Management Information regarding spend/efficiency and cost data for service charge
  • Ensure value for money with customers by ensuring a robust stock inventory process is followed
  • Work with the Resource Schedulers and the Group In-House Team Manager to use Field Service to manage and implement the staff rota in an area to maximise operative productivity and reduce mileage/travel time
  • Responsible for keeping the machinery and equipment asset register up to date
Requirements
  • Must hold a current full UK driving licence and be willing to drive the association's vehicles
  • Must have the capability to operate machinery and equipment such as petrol mowers, strimmers, floor cleaning apparatus, and electric hand power tools
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work internally and externally during all seasons
  • Experience of working in a similar or related environment or post
  • Experience of contractor/work force-based IT systems
  • Willing and able to participate in the out of hours emergency roster
  • Knowledge of estate-based service delivery and contract management
  • Knowledge of British Standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety, and any other specialist trade and professional codes of practice relevant to Estate Services activities
