**The Role**

The Bureau Analytics Lead is accountable for ensuring data analysis is performed and utilised to benefit and support LASER Bureau customers to achieve energy management targets. LASER’s Bureau services are key to helping customers understand their utility usage patterns and associated carbon emissions and costs.

The Bureau Analytics Lead will manage a team of Bureau Data Analysts to ensure all data analysis is performed accurately, identifying and advising the customer where energy management targets are not being met. The Bureau Analytics Lead will implement Quality Assurance processes and be able to demonstrate bespoke reporting being delivered accurately and on time. The Bureau Analytics Lead will also use management information to identify further areas of service development.

The Bureau Analytics Lead will collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve any blockers preventing proactive reporting. The role will also work with the Systems and Processes lead to streamline and automate data validation and reporting.

**Key Duties**
- Ensure LASER’s Bureau service and bespoke reporting is carried out and issued to customers in a timely and accurate basis.
- Coach and manage a team of FTEs to deliver excellent performance and service to our customers.
- Put in place robust Quality Assurance methods and processes.
- Monitor the performance and the quality of the Bureau Service validation and reporting via Dashboard Reporting and KPI’s.
- Implement a proactive approach of flagging anomalies in consumption and cost to customers, signposting potential routes to investigate and resolve the anomalies.
- Identify service and reporting opportunities for bureau customers.
- Manage and resolve process or performance issues that are impacting effective production of reporting.
- Work with the Systems and Processes Lead to streamline processes and reporting.
- Work with wider LASER teams and suppliers to understand and resolve issues around production of reports.
- Provide strong line management support to direct reports and build/develop a strong and positive culture across wider indirect report network.
- Oversee the onboarding of new customers, acting as a technical lead for new customer bureau reporting requirements.
- As part of the Leadership Team, uphold and embed the Commercial Services Values.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, legislation and contractual commitments.

**What we need from you**
- An understanding of the Energy industry
- Detailed knowledge of energy and carbon reporting systems
- Detailed understanding or energy, water and carbon reporting methodologies
- Experience of setting and measuring performance metrics and taking management actions against outputs
- Experience of managing, leading and coaching highly successful teams
- Experience of implementing and managing strong Quality Assurance processes
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of managing large data sets in a timely and accurate manner
- Experience of identifying and improving ineffective processes
- Experience of delivering customer reporting outputs to a tight schedule
