Role: Framework Strategy Manager
Location: Kings Hill/Remote
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000pa DOE (Plus performance bonus)
LASER Energy, a leading provider of de-carbonisation and energy services for the public sector, is seeking an experienced Framework Strategy Manager to join their high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to procure and maintain a range of public sector compliant purchasing frameworks that align with the strategic direction of the Energy & Carbon division.
The Framework Strategy Manager plays a critical role in understanding the direction of the Energy & Carbon division's markets and ensuring existing and new frameworks are procured that are comprehensive, flexible, and easy to use, contractually robust and performance managed throughout their duration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and framework development, with experience in managing procurement activities and negotiating beneficial contracts for both the Energy & Carbon division and its customers. They will also possess excellent leadership and line management skills, with the ability to provide strong support to direct reports and build a positive culture across the wider indirect report network.
The Framework Strategy Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and owning a strategic plan for framework development, adoption, and optimisation aligned with the Energy & Carbon division's goals and objectives.
- Leading the development of frameworks tailored to the Energy & Carbon division's customers' existing and emerging requirements.
- Producing ITT documents that comply with procurement regulations and LASER Energy standards.
- Managing the procurement process from start to finish, reporting progress, blockers, or concerns to senior management.
- Administering framework contracts and ensuring they are contractually robust and performance managed throughout their duration.
