Salary: £33,024 to £39,186 (depending on experience)

The Role
Working under the direction from their Head of Operations, you will lead on Estates and ICT management across the trust in line with the key priorities of the strategic plan.
The successful candidate will have experience in general estates, facilities management and school IT networks, a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and an understanding of building control systems. Previous experience working in a school environment would be beneficial but not essential.
You should have a proven track record of providing excellent facilities management services, experience of working with a multi discipline team of professionals, and be able to demonstrate having successfully implemented change and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- To proactively lead in the implementation and delivery of their Estates and Sustainability Strategy.
- Develop and improve the Trust estates and support site staff teams, ensuring effective and efficient management of the school sites and grounds.
- Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety (legislation and implementation) are reflected in the highest of standards, ensuring all schools in the Trust are safe and legally compliant.
- Ensure a high level of performance from all school contracts.
- Support Project management, and/or work closely with external project managers, on school refurbishment, building improvement works and ICT.
- Travel independently to all the schools currently within their Trust, as well as any new schools who may join they in the future. You must also be able to commute (mileage costs will be reinbursed).
- Oversee the management of all aspects of their IT systems (Outsourced managed provider) and networks. You will lead their technical team and provide support to their schools where required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Management and/or Facilities related qualification(s)
- Experience of managing premises in and educational setting
- Experience of managing staff
- Building maintenance
- Experience of Emergency planning and Contingency
- Drafting and contribution to the development of policies, procedures and work practices
- Resource management & strong problem-solving skills
- IT skills
- Strong organisation and administration skills
