Health Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Health Care Assistant in the Biochemistry laboratory at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential services to patients in North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Main Responsibilities- To provide high-quality support to healthcare scientists and staff within the Biochemistry laboratory
- To maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- To work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
This is a part-time position working Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00 and one in three Sundays 08:45-16:45. An initial period of training will be required during routine daytime hours before commencing the evening shift hours once fully competent.
Requirements- NVQ 3 in Pathology or equivalent experience
- 3 GCSEs or equivalent including English
- Experience of working in a Pathology laboratory or Pathology reception
- A competitive salary of £24,071-£25,674 per annum pro rata
