Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our established team on one of our static sites. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded engineer with a mechanical bias, confident in building controls and fabric work.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing mechanical engineering support to our static sites, with a focus on building services, booster pumps, and BMS monitoring systems.
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver a customer-focused service, with a flexible attitude and a 'can do' approach.
- Undertaking training as required by the post and the Technical Services Manager, to ensure ongoing professional development.
- Maintaining computer-based and hard copy systems for statutory inspections and tests, with strong administration skills.
- Working on an on-call system, reacting and working independently to resolve issues.
- Working on multiple sites as required, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Experience and Qualifications
- C&G in plumbing/mechanical engineering, with strong fault-finding skills.
- Experience of being client-facing, with a strong ability to work under own initiative.
- Team player with good electrical/controls knowledge, IT literacy, and a driving licence.
- SC Clearance desirable, but not essential.
