Job Details

A Personal Assistant is required to support a 35 year old female with learning disabilities who lives in the Crook area. The role involves accompanying her to community activities, social events and outings on weekends, such as shopping, bowling and visiting cafes. The ideal candidate will have a driving licence and access to their own car, as well as enhanced DBS clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting a young woman with learning disabilities in her daily life
• Accompanying her to community activities and social events
• Assisting with accessing public transport and using her car
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection guidelines

Requirements:
• Driving licence and access to your own car
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Hours:
• £12 per hour
• 10 hours every fortnight, preferably on Saturdays
