Support Worker Wanted

We are looking for a reliable and caring Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to a 35 year old female with learning disabilities living in the Crook area. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for accompanying her to community activities, social events and outings on weekends, and assisting her with everyday tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing one-to-one support to a young woman with learning disabilities
• Accompanying her to community activities and social events, including shopping, bowling and visiting cafes
• Assisting with accessing public transport and using her car
• Maintaining accurate records of her activities and well-being

Requirements:
• Driving licence and access to your own car
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits:
• £12 per hour
• 10 hours every fortnight, preferably on Saturdays
