Job Overview:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a qualified teaching assistant to work with students with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties. As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring all students have the opportunity to thrive
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH students, ideally in a school setting
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
