Innovative SEN Teacher Required for Barnstaple

A highly respected group of schools, specialising in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs (SEN), is seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join their team in Barnstaple. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
- Support students with a range of SEMH and SEN needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes emotional and academic growth
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEMH/SEN
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
