Residential Care Specialist

The successful candidate will join Long Term Futures Ltd as a Residential Care Specialist to support children with learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe and positive environment that fosters health, education, and personal development.
This is a full-time, permanent position working on a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts. We offer competitive compensation, including a salary range of £27,528 - £32,072 per annum (£11.85 - £12.65 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in). In addition to your salary, you will receive company pension (3% employer contribution), 224 hours annual leave, double pay on Bank Holidays, and career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care, guidance, and support in line with Ofsted regulations.
• Maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere focused on health, education, and personal development.
• Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
• Experience with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication is desirable.
• Knowledge of Makaton or PEC's is desirable.
• A valid UK/EU manual driving licence is essential.
• Flexibility to work a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts.
• An enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks are required.
