Support Worker for Young Adults with Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker for Young Adults with Disabilities to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. As a residential support worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and guidance to young adults with learning disabilities, helping them to reach their full potential. This is a long-term, full-time position working on a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication, and possess knowledge of Makaton or PEC's. A valid UK/EU manual driving licence is also essential. We offer a competitive salary range of £27,528 - £32,072 per annum (£11.85 - £12.65 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in) and a comprehensive benefits package, including company pension, annual leave, and career progression opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Provide person-centred care and support to young adults with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and other professionals.
• Collaborate with the Registered Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication is preferred.
• Valid UK/EU manual driving licence is essential.
• Enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks are required.
