Learning Disability Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Derbyshire (DE72)
Salary: £27,528 - £32,072 per annum (£11.85 - £12.65 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in)
Job Type: Full-time, Long Term - Permanent

Shift Pattern: Rolling rota, 08:00 AM - 11:00 PM (including sleep-ins)

Career progression opportunitiesWe are working in collaboration with a children's residential home, looking to appint a Learning Disability Children's Residential Support Worker to support children with learning disabilities (including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication). You will help create a safe, positive environment and guide young people to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care, guidance, and support in line with Ofsted regulations.
Maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere focused on health, education, and personal development.
Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.Requirements:

Experience with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication is desirable.
Knowledge of Makaton or PEC's is desirable.
A valid UK/EU manual driving licence is essential.
Flexibility to work a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts.
An enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks (we can assist with this).Rota Example:

Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
Week 2: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
