About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Gledholt. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of each service user are met.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals with complex needs, including those with challenging behaviors, to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the best possible care.

Requirements

  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
