Behavioural Support Tutor

We are seeking a Behavioural Support Tutor to join our team at FUTURE EDUCATION, providing 1:1 behaviour support to a student with SEMH needs. This is a fixed-term contract, Monday to Friday, with a competitive daily rate.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will work collaboratively with the school team and external agencies to provide targeted support to the student, promoting positive behaviour and reducing challenging behaviour. The role involves developing and implementing individualised support plans, monitoring student progress, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and carers.
Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 behaviour support to a student with SEMH needs
- Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with the school team and external agencies
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and informing future planning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and carers, building trust and promoting positive relationships
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of SEMH, ASD, and challenging behaviour
- Experience working in a PRU or similar educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications in education, social work, or a related field (desirable)
