Medical Secretary for Respiratory Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Medical Secretary within our Respiratory Service. This role primarily involves providing administrative support to the team, ensuring a first-class service is delivered to patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for typing correspondence, managing patient appointments, dealing with phone queries, and validating waiting lists. Previous medical secretarial experience and knowledge of medical terminology are essential.
We offer a competitive salary of £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours, and a range of benefits including flexible working and access to high-quality education and training.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing administrative support to the Respiratory Team
- Typing correspondence and managing patient appointments
- Dealing with phone queries and validating waiting lists
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- AMSPAR Diploma level 3 or equivalent typing/keyboard qualification
- Educated to GCSE Level 2 (Numeracy and Literacy) standard
- Previous medical secretarial experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
