Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our Respiratory Service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Type correspondence and manage patient appointments efficiently.
  • Deal with phone queries and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage clinical diaries and rotas, validating waiting lists as necessary.
Requirements:
  • AMSPAR Diploma level 3 or equivalent typing/keyboard qualification.
  • Educated to GCSE Level 2 (Numeracy and Literacy) standard.
  • Knowledge of Hospital Information Systems.
  • Previous medical secretarial experience is essential.
