Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled team leader to manage a multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality services to families supported by children in need plans and Early Help.

About This Role

To succeed in this position, you will need to be a qualified social worker, youth worker, teacher or hold an equivalent professional qualification at diploma level. You will also need experience managing or leading a team from various disciplines, including Family workers, Social Workers, Parenting Workers and Social Work Students.

  • Essential Requirements:
  • A child-centered approach: prioritizing the needs and well-being of children to inform decision-making.
  • Effective relationship-building skills: developing strong relationships with children, families and professionals.
  • Ability to manage risk and uncertainty: confidently assessing and navigating complex situations.
  • Skilled use of data: leveraging performance data to improve practice and drive positive outcomes for children and families.
Working Conditions

This is a fixed-term full-time position at 37 hours per week. Regular travel is required as part of the role.

You will work with children, vulnerable adults, and/or have access to sensitive information about them.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is £35,745 - £41,297 per annum, depending on experience.
