**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Manager to lead our Commercial Dispute Resolution team at Flint Bishop. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of commercial litigation matters, including commercial property disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Commercial Dispute Resolution department, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Manage a team of legal professionals, providing supervision and guidance to ensure the successful resolution of matters.
  • Assist with the recruitment process for Commercial Dispute Resolution vacancies, including proactive headhunting and drafting job specifications/adverts.
  • Drive performance and achieve continued financial growth year-over-year.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and COO to construct team targets and review annual budgets.
  • Hold regular departmental meetings to report on team performance and provide one-to-one feedback as needed.
  • Represent the Commercial Dispute Resolution department at quarterly HOD meetings and attend monthly one-to-ones with the CEO and COO.

Requirements:

  • A qualified senior Commercial Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
  • Excellent leadership skills and previous experience leading a team of legal professionals.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • A sound knowledge of IT systems and processes, including the Microsoft suite and case management systems.
