As a seasoned commercial litigation solicitor, you will lead our team of experts in handling complex and high-value disputes for local and national clients. Your expertise will be invaluable in managing a varied and complex caseload, including commercial property disputes and management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the annual strategic plan for the Commercial Dispute Resolution department, working closely with the CEO and COO to set team targets and goals.
  • Assist with the annual budget review process and hold monthly departmental meetings to report on team performance.
  • Represent the Commercial Dispute Resolution department at quarterly HOD meetings and attend monthly one-to-ones with the CEO and COO.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to more junior fee-earners, sign off work as needed, and drive performance to achieve continued financial growth.
  • Assist with the recruitment process for Commercial Dispute Resolution vacancies, including proactive headhunting and drafting job specifications and adverts.
Requirements
  • A qualified senior commercial litigation solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
  • Excellent leadership skills and previous experience leading a team of legal professionals.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • A sound knowledge of IT systems and processes, including the Microsoft suite and case management systems.
