Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing and forward-thinking legal firm based in North Derbyshire.

They are now looking for a Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join their team.

The Role

They are looking for a Litigation and Dispute Resolution Lawyer who is ready for a fresh change with this exciting up-and-coming business. You should be able to hit the ground running and have the ability to run your own caseload, dealing with a wide range of business disputes including, but not limited to:

  1. Management and ownership disputes
  2. Debt recovery
  3. Contract disputes
  4. Landlord & Tenant issues
  5. Breach of contracts
  6. Intellectual Property disputes

You will be expected to support clients and resolve legal disagreements and business-related conflicts through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation.

  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part-time) - The company typically closes between Christmas and New Year (unless there are urgent client matters) and you would not have to save any holiday entitlement for this closure.
  • Working from home 1 day per week, but flexible.
  • A bonus relating to invoiced profit costs.
  • A separate bonus for clients that you have introduced to a department that they do not work in.
  • A bonus in respect of new candidates (i.e. staff they then employ) that you introduce to the Company.
  • Nest pension scheme.
  • Hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, dictated by client/work demands.
  • No formal dress policy in the office (very informal), although business attire may be appropriate when meeting certain clients or for certain events.
