Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Solicitor to join our Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Derby.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a personal caseload of commercial litigation matters, while also supporting on more complex matters with senior members of the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading law firm in the Midlands, handling complex and high-value disputes for a variety of local and national clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, commercial property disputes, and professional negligence disputes.
  • Support on more complex matters alongside senior members of the team.
  • Ensure matters are kept up to date in systems and new advancements are communicated to clients and the relevant team members.
  • Take on additional tasks as reasonably required by the Head of Commercial Dispute Resolution.
  • Conduct legal research where required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a 2:1 legal degree.
  • Experience in Commercial Litigation.
  • A sound knowledge of IT systems and processes, such as the Microsoft suite.
