Role Overview

A leading financial services organisation is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Governance and Risk expert to manage and develop their global supplier management framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and improving the framework to ensure it is best-in-class, leading a small team in modernising supplier management processes, and developing long-lasting relationships with C-Suite stakeholders at Tier 1 suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and improve the global supplier management framework to ensure compliance with financial services regulations.
  • Lead a team in modernising supplier management processes, delegating responsibilities to team members.
  • Develop strong relationships with C-Suite stakeholders at Tier 1 suppliers to drive business growth.
  • Assess risk and compliance aligned with financial services regulations, integrating these processes into the framework.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in running an SRM/Vendor Management framework, ideally with a focus on modernisation and process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of supplier governance, risk, and compliance in a regulated environment.
  • Experience in team management and leadership, with a focus on driving business growth.
  • Strong academic record and a professional certification in procurement or a related field are highly desirable.
