  • Work closely with the sales team to evaluate the cost-benefit analysis of events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and budget constraints.
  • Continuously track leads from events and provide detailed ROI reports for each event, ensuring ongoing evaluation of performance and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive outreach and marketing plans for events, utilizing various channels to drive engagement and attendance.
  • Take initiative to propose innovative ideas for event formats and engagement strategies, contributing to the overall success of the event portfolio.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of event planning and management experience in a corporate or tech environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • The tenacity to fully execute 100+ events a year.
  • An understanding of the online business and M&A space is preferred.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Measures of Success
  • Event Schedule: Minimum of one hosted event per week, and one attended trade show per month for each Flippa business broker.
  • Event Attendance Rate: Drive a minimum of 200 registrations per event with a target of 40% attendance from registrations.
  • ROI: Managing cost per attendee against total projected revenue from leads.
  • Lead Generation: Minimum of five qualified leads per event.
