Salary Range: $240,000 - $290,000 per year, plus benefits.

Job Overview

The Medical Director role involves dual responsibilities: leadership of clinical staff and maintaining a clinical practice for 16 hours weekly. Primary duties include recruitment, supervision, and evaluation of primary care providers and specialists. The position focuses on process improvement related to clinical care, patient access, staffing, utilization management, and patient scheduling.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative oversight and direction for clinical, operational, and educational functions.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
  • Involve in budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Drive practice transformation and implement a medical home model.
  • Contribute to innovative changes in healthcare delivery approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 years of primary care experience required.
  • Experience in community health setting preferred.
  • Experience in administration, supervision, and management of clinical staff including budgeting strongly preferred.
