Infrastructure Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Parico, a growing technology business delivering innovative and secure solutions to Public Sector customers across the United Kingdom.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a team developing greenfield systems and services for our clients, using cloud services and on-premise infrastructure components. You will build and maintain an extensive portfolio of Windows and Virtualisation technologies, related storage, server platforms, and integrated management software.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing greenfield services with our close-knit technical team, including Infrastructure Architects and our Chief Technology Office.
- Maintaining the overall security integrity of both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Understanding how solutions fit into the broader IT ecosystem, including integration of authentication, and directory services with other platforms.
- Producing clear and concise technical documentation.
- Interacting, contributing, and engaging with technical discussions with senior stakeholders and acting as the technical lead for engagements.
Essential criteria include demonstrable expertise in supporting and implementing infrastructure components for Windows and Virtualisation technologies, such as Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Group Policy, CIS and NCSC Security Hardening, NTP, SQL Server, and Windows Server Update Server (WSUS).
Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering large-scale IT projects, with direct responsibility for supporting and implementing highly available and resilient secure solutions. They should have experience working with Enterprise Systems, Platforms, and Networks within both datacentre environments and cloud environments.
