Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data centre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data centre infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft stack technologies, SQL server, Linux (RHEL) server management, and SAN storage (NetApp).
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for our data centre infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, and Work Instructions.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of Windows Server deployment and management in a data centre environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V and System Center.
  • Strong experience with Linux (RHEL) and satellite management tooling.
  • Understanding of DevOps source control and configuration as code (CaC) tooling, such as Ansible.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
