Internal Account Manager - Garage / Workshop Consumables

Strengthening our UK sales team:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Account Manager to join our UK sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and developing c class Garage Workshop Consumables programmes to vertical markets expanding across the Engineering Supplies, Industrial Distribution and MRO space.

Ideal Candidate:

Our ideal candidate will have worked within Parts Supply, large Motor Factor or Industrial / Engineering Supplies / Distributor possessing excellent sales and business support skills. Product knowledge is not essential for this role; however, we seek individuals with a nose for increasing sales, developing customer spends, and increasing order values through asking great questions.

Key Skills:

  1. Knowledge and experience of supporting a field sales based function and attentive customer service skills are vital.
  2. Ability to take and process orders whilst building solid customer relationships.
  3. Nose for increasing and sniffing out incremental sales to increase average order values.
  4. Setting up and onboarding new customers to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience.
  5. High level of IT literacy, particularly presentations packages and analytical capabilities via Microsoft Excel.
  6. Clear and concise communication skills, written and verbally.
  7. Professional outlook able to quickly build and develop customer relationships.
  8. Highly organised with solid work ethic approaching tasks tenaciously.
  9. Punctual and enthusiastic can-do work ethic.
  10. Smart in appearance, able to create excellent 1st impressions.
