Job Summary

The Ecommerce Operations Specialist/Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of ecommerce operations, including sales and marketing strategies, website management, automation, risk assessment, profitability optimization, data analysis, customer support, and compliance. This role ensures a seamless customer journey, maximizes profitability, and maintains efficient processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of ecommerce operations, including sales and marketing strategies, website management, automation, risk assessment, profitability optimization, data analysis, customer support, and compliance
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Implement and manage ecommerce tools, software, and technologies to optimize operations and improve customer experience
  • Ensure day-to-day website operations are running smoothly, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns
  • Develop and manage dashboards, reporting structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive improvement
  • Automate all aspects of ecommerce operations using ecommerce tools, APIs, and plugins
  • Anticipate and mitigate risk factors across operations, and develop business continuity plans to ensure sustainability
  • Elevate business profitability through strategic marketing and branding initiatives, including social media and SEO
  • Analyze metrics and data to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Manage inventories, refunds, customer support, and pricing to ensure optimal customer experience and revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ecommerce operations
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
  • Good experience with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and warehouse management
  • Experience in the business-to-consumer (B2C) digital retail market within the ecommerce space
  • Agile and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing stakeholders, client relations, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, time management, and ability to multitask
  • Good with project management, reporting, data analysis, and dashboard management
  • Able to work within the EU timezone
