Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our Scotland West Division in Hamilton. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate financial transactions and reports, maintaining accounting records, and providing support to the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Produce accurate financial transactions and reports, maintaining accounting records.
  • Account Management: Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts, monthly journals, and account analysis.
  • Land Acquisition: Review proposed land acquisitions, including financial assumptions and VAT.
  • KPI Tracking: Maintain KPI and analysis schedules.
  • Sales Ledger Oversight: Lead oversight on house sales ledger, including monthly sales reconciliation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Divisional finance team.
  • Process Improvement: Assist with compliance and implementing business process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in a similar role, preferably with accountancy software knowledge.
  • Certifications: CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
  • Skillset: Excellent administration, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong management, time management, and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £58,000 - £78,000 per annum, depending on experience.
