Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior VAT Analyst to join our team at Jaguar & Land Rover. As a key member of our Central VAT Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of VAT returns, refund claims, and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review and verify VAT returns and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  2. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in VAT compliance.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance on VAT-related matters to internal stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement VAT process changes resulting from business or system updates.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry policy, Tax Authority policy, and legislative VAT developments, and communicate relevant changes to the VAT compliance team and wider business.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in finance and accounting systems, with a strong understanding of VAT principles and regulations.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement process improvements.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
