Youth Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Casual Child Residential Support Worker. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to create a safe, secure, and supportive environment for young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Located in Heysham or rural North Lancaster, our children's homes provide a family-f feel atmosphere, where you can build strong relationships with our residents and make a positive impact on their lives. With a maximum of four young people per home, you will have the opportunity to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each child and help them achieve their full potential.
As a key member of our residential team, you will be responsible for carrying out duties as a Childcare Worker and Key Worker, adhering to National Standards and Ofsted requirements. You will also contribute to creating a culture of trust and mutual respect between staff and residents, promoting open communication and collaboration.
We require a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People and a full UK driving license for this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong understanding of child development and behaviour, are essential for building trust and rapport with our residents.
