Castleford Academy Attendance Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to support our attendance provision here at Castleford Academy, part of the Castleford Academy Trust. Our academy is an 11-19 oversubscribed comprehensive school with a rich and deep curriculum, offering high standards and successful academic records.

As an Attendance Administrator, you will play a vital role in promoting excellent levels of attendance across the Academy, providing administrative support for the school's attendance strategy, and contributing to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting attendance and punctuality among pupils, their families, and staff.
  • Providing accurate and timely attendance data, ensuring its relevance and reliability.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils attending the academy.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A confident and effective communicator.
  • Experience working with families with complex needs.
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Proven organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to deal with emotional situations calmly and professionally.

We offer competitive remuneration package, including an estimated salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also benefit from opportunities for professional growth and development within the trust.
