- **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**_
**OVERVIEW**
A Vendor Support Executive’s core responsibility is to manage and develop existing relationships with our key clients. As part of the vendor team, you are accountable for all elements of the sale process for your own client portfolio, including agreeing reserve prices, recommending value adding refurbishment, stock management, pre and post sale reporting, sale programme management and looking for opportunities to grow the volume offered at G3 for your accounts.
By identifying value adding service opportunities, you will seek to ensure that all avenues to maximise vehicle ‘sale-ability’ are explored and offered to the vendor. This will include but it is not limited to upgraded valets, replacement items (keys, batteries etc) smart repairs and refurbishment, alongside obtaining V5’s and service history wherever possible.
Liaising with cross business functions your will need to ensure that all client SLA’s and KPi’s are achieved including any agreed reporting and that we are consistently looking to offer a first-class customer experience.
By creating, maintaining and updating all client onboarding, guides and processes, you will actively promote and implement process improvements and share best practice with both the wider team and the vendor.
As the first line of communication for our sellers you will be expected to identify any issues or concerns and raise these to Head of Site Operations in order to continue to respond to the customer’s expectations at all times.
Responsibilities will include;
- Managing the end-to-end site to sale process for the collection and sale of the vendor’s vehicles
- Monitoring of their vehicle collections, including escalation of overdue and expected daily arrival
- Stock management and preparation of vehicles ready for next available sale
- Oversight of all sale preparation activity and ensure this is completed in line with client expectations, KPI's and SLA's (including but not limited to: valeting, inspection, imaging, line up, identifying value added services)
- Working alongside Auctioneers to distribute vehicle valuations
- Delivery of all vendor pre and post sale reports and liaising to agree and set reserve prices
- Requesting documentation in an efficient and timely manner
- Discussing and negotiating bids post-sale
- Walking vendor stock lines where requested, to ensure vehicle is ‘sale ready’
- Coordinate vendor site visits and rostrum representation
- Maintain regular contact with Vendors and provide a first class service via phone, proactively prospecting for ongoing business and identifying additional revenue streams and sharing these leads with the sales team
- Complete and regularly review an account overview document, designed to understand your accounts, including; vehicle profiles, competitors they utilise, overall annual disposal volume, management structure, projected G3 disposal volume, transport arrangements and rebate targets
- Organise and attend monthly or quarterly review meetings where required, including other relevant G3 representatives
- **EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS FOR THE ROLE**_
- A passionate team-player with an eye for details
- Must have a professional and confident demeanour, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent telephone manner and strong face to face communications skills
- Negotiation and rapport building ability
- Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to managing customers requirements
- A passion for the automotive industry preferable - ideally with an understanding of vehicle make/model to understand values, desirability and market trends
- Experience working with CRMs and other based IT systems
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Full time permanent position (Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm) Based at G3 Castleford (WF10 4UA)
Starting salary of £27,500 (band 1) with regular band review based on skills and performance
