Job Summary

The Head of Healthcare Workforce Planning is responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce plans to support the delivery of healthcare services at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.

You will lead a team of professionals in identifying and addressing future healthcare needs through innovative workforce planning and transformation. This includes collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective workforce solutions that meet the changing needs of our patients and service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic workforce plans to support the delivery of healthcare services.
  • Lead a team of professionals in identifying and addressing future healthcare needs through innovative workforce planning and transformation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective workforce solutions.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in healthcare workforce planning and a proven track record of experience in senior management roles within the NHS. You should have excellent analytical skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant subject, plus further training or experience to Master's level.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Excellent knowledge of current resourcing legislation, case law, and HR good practice.

Salary

£65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
