About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our service user in Ashton Under Lyne.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering personalized care and be committed to supporting our service user's ongoing care, which includes managing his complex medical needs.

As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with our service user to develop and implement their individual care plan, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

You will also provide companionship and support, engaging in playful banter and building a strong relationship with our service user.

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, making a significant impact on our service user's day-to-day life.

Main Responsibilities

Delivering personal care and support, including medication administration and mobility assistance.

Providing companionship and engaging in activities that promote our service user's mental and emotional well-being.

Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with our service user.

Working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

A competitive hourly rate of £18.00-£22.00, depending on experience.

Requirements

3 months previous care experience, preferably in complex care.

Personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexible approach to shift work, including alternate weekends.
